War. Famine. Raids. Many of the other colonies are suffering from Native American attacks. Do you believe their excuses that the Natives Americans are brutish savages, or do you see through their lies. These other colonies stole and harassed the Native Americans from the beginning, and they got what they deserved. The Calverts believed in treating others fairly from the beginning, and look at just how far that has gotten us.
These images depict trade and negotiations between the colonists and the native Americans.
The Native American tribes that lived near settlers were the Nanticoke, Susquehannock, Powhatan, and the Yaocamaco. These tribes also believed in fairness and just treatment, and when the settlers arrived, were traded tools for food and land. The Native Americans taught us how to fish, make weapons, and hunt, as well as regularly traded with us. In return, we treat them the way they treat us, and respect them as the original settlers of this land. When we were in need, they were of assistance. We will always remember their provided kindness, and disregard any other definitions provided by the other colonies. All the other colonies do is wage constant war, while we build a lifelong and lasting friendship.
